Born in sao paulo in 1982, I was raised in paris by german parents. That pretty much sums up the multi-cultural enviroment that I lived in and that influenced me in my early years. My first interests were music as I learned to play piano and drums in school and played along several bands at that time. It was about the same time my interest in computer generated moving pictures took birth when I discovered a copy of Harward Graphics on the Amstrad my sister let me. It was the first time I could actually animate computer drawn pictures myself. Intrigued by CG, I ended up on an internship at Teva in Paris in mid 2000. That is where I was put in front of a mysterious machine with a multi-coloured keyboard. It was the first Avid Media Composer system I ever used, and I hooked up. Finishing school in june 2001 I was offered a three years aprenticeship at Das Werk in Düsseldorf. The company being a full service post production, the skills I aquired in these 3 years range from VTR operations to 3D animation passing by DVD authoring and 2D compositing. Although I went through all those stages with great interest, I soon came back to my initial passion: the editing. At the issue of my apprenticeship I took on a job as junior offline editor for 6 month and then moved on to Vogelsänger Film, a production company also located in Düsseldorf. In the time from february 2005 to august 2006 I managed the post production of the company and had the chance to edit about 20 TV commercials, several music videos and several mood-boards. Since august 2006, I am available as freelance editor, working for many TV production companies in the Cologne area and also for several post production facilities all over Germany.
